HSBC 150 switch incentive - how long? 9th Mar 18 at 3:55 PM
Does anyone here who has recently switched to HSBC know how long it take them pay out the 150? I switched over 6 weeks ago but have not received anything yet so wondering if this is normal.

Did you open the correct current account, start the switch within 30 days of account being opened and transfer 2 DD or SOs in the process?

Well I just phoned them and I'm not eligible because, although I switched and closed my HSBC account to First Direct in 2012 (in order to receive the 125 incentive), they didn't actually close the account until February 2015 which is after the January 2015 cut-off date.

If HSBC never closed it, i assume I should not have been paid the 125 by First Direct.

Just my luck! I didn't get the Yorkshire 200 as a water company cancelled my direct debit without telling me. Fingers crossed Natwest pay up.

    Thanks for the replies.
