HSBC £150 switch incentive - how long?

Does anyone here who has recently switched to HSBC know how long it take them pay out the £150? I switched over 6 weeks ago but have not received anything yet so wondering if this is normal.

    Within 3 weeks.

Did you open the correct current account, start the switch within 30 days of account being opened and transfer 2 DD or SOs in the process?

Well I just phoned them and I'm not eligible because, although I switched and closed my HSBC account to First Direct in 2012 (in order to receive the £125 incentive), they didn't actually close the account until February 2015 which is after the January 2015 cut-off date.

If HSBC never closed it, i assume I should not have been paid the £125 by First Direct.

Just my luck! I didn't get the Yorkshire £200 as a water company cancelled my direct debit without telling me. Fingers crossed Natwest pay up.

    Thanks for the replies.
