ADSL4less - are they any good

Options
I have posted this question, or similar, on 2 other general threads, but have not received a reply. Anyone with any experience of this ISP ?? Their prices seem good, but need some recommendations

I migrated from Pipex 2 months ago after their disappointing price restructure.

1 problem so far which was disrupted service due to a dodgy router at Hotchilli, which was put on their customer support answerphone message. I think it was fixed within 4 hours or so. Can't ask for more.

Apart from that great. There is no webspace, just 1 email address which I do not use.

I cannot get 1Mb, so 512k uncapped, 1 month contract at that price suits me great. Email info on migrating was good, got login and settings well before date - on exact date, Pipex went down, imeddiately change settings and logged into ADSL4Less. Speeds v similar to Pipex.

The only other one I was considering was EFH but the 3 months swayed me against it.

    Hope this helps.

ADSL4Less is the best..6 months now, no problems...
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

I've got to get a new provider and spent ages last night and today looking at different websites and comparing this and that. It's so confusing! You think you've found one and then something pops up in their T & C's that's new.

I phoned ADSL4Less as it's still a possibility for me - but it's 10p per minute. He said "hang on a couple of minutes" (while he went away to check something) & I said no I can't it's expensive, can you call me back - and he did!

i've been on their uncapped 512k service for over 6m now and have had absolutely no problems. connection seems fast and reliable, and it's cheep like a budgie. what more can you ask for?

I've heard that ukonline have an unbundled £10/month service but only if you live somewhere that has been unbundled. I'm interested but can't get this at the moment.

Funny you should ask..... I've spent nearly 15 hours (with a couple of breaks) today trying to get the broadband connected (with adsl4less). I spent 2 seperate half hours at my expense (10p per minute) plus over an hour and a half at theirs (when I did finally get them to call me back). There was a big communication problem as either I didn't understand the customer service person (I spoke to 2 & it applied to both) or they didn't understand what I said (English not their first language) so I honestly think it took twice as long on the phone that it should have.

Can't comment on the actual connection yet, seems fine at the moment!
