Just popping in to update... managed a few chunks off the cc today...
now at #28 £4837 paid / £16443 start (29.4% paid off)
Need to up my game... sadly used the cc ALOT over the past two months...bad habits getting groceries and fuel on them! SO I have withdrawn £400 and placed it into allocated envelopes... each one labelled for a week of groceries and a fuel allowance... If this works then I can up my CC payments... fingers crossed... although I worry that if I have £70 and the bill is higher I will just reach for the plastic again (I have to carry it for emergency use - been caught out by garage repairs before)
Good luck everyone. Let's kill these CC debtsMake £/day March: £1490.85 / £310

#81 @ 4500/10000 45%
Paid £100 straight off debt. 3k paid directly to family member now and 1.5k in the regular saver.
I really want to hit 50%, but I don't think I can up my £350pm. Calculated that the remaining 45% will take me just over 15 months to repay if I don't dip into savings. I will have 5.5k saved by then though, which will be a good emergency fund. That's if I stick to budget!19/12/14: Spent 10 years of savings!!
:heart2: ..... to buy my first home. :heart2:

Hello, £100 off my credit card today, my road tax needs paid this month and still paying full bills but hopefully this will be the last rubbish month!
On a positive note I've finally broken the £1000 mark on my repayments

Bank holiday weekend - always tricky with the urge to spend spend spend! Locking the credit cards away and trying to stay of the sales websites. We were supposed to be going away for Easter but cancelled it as they were forecasting snow and my husband didn't want to tow our caravan in bad weather so I need to make it a frugal weekend to maximise the saving. Does anyone else struggle on the bank holidays? It's not your salary that makes you rich - it's your spending habits!
After a life time of debt now's the time to finally break free once and for all
Saving money makes me happy.
