Nothing like a bomb scare to liven up your afternoon...cue lots of police and no one allowed off site...all ok, was a suitcase in a phonebox
Emailed my line manager with regard to finishing my notice early to be met with a 'no' due to staffing levels and trying to find my replacement
On the upside, I've redeemed my first voucher for SiL number 2
DH and DD have been to pick up MiL and are on their way home
Managed to pick up some stationary bits for great nephews and niece for next Christmas, the shop is cloding down so got them while I could. Total spent £11.97 for three different things each0 -

He said that he would've done under normal circumstances but due to staffing levels and trying to find my replacement, it was a no.
They can't get anyone as no one wants to work for them and they can't get anyone temp as they wont pay the agencies.0 -

Morning,
If nothing else, my site and its decreasing work staff is making 100% sure leaving is the best option. Not only have three handed in their notice, another is waiting on his offer to come through next week and two more went for interviews. Sinking ship springs to mind as does p!ss up and brewery :rotfl:
Still it's good entertainment for the next two weeks :rotfl:
Moving on, DH got paid today :j and I'm due to get paid next week.
This month I will only need to buy one week travel card and parking, as opposed to monthly it'll be diesel from then on, which shouldn't be too bad as DH says I drive like an old lady :rotfl:
Need to ring my agency and check that everything is still on for me starting on the 13th, it should be ok.
Need to make the necessary cc payments and go food shopping at some point.
One survey done this morning, VO is building up again nicely. I should be able to redeem the other voucher by the end of next week. PA is building up but it's painfully slow. Onepoll is inching towards payout.
Have a great day and I'll be back later.0
