Morning and happy blustery Saturday
Judging by the weather report, I don't think I'll hang the washing out today.
So had a bad email from the school yesterday, it seems DD and her friends have caused damage to the toilets. As a result DD is now grounded and will write a letter of apology to the school and the school are going to place the necessary sanctions after half term. If it's not one child it's the other
Was lovely to catch up with my girls last night, we ended up with coffee and cake instead. Talking to one (she's a project manager) the company I'm going to, she says I'll slot in and she believes I'll be there for years.
Next week is half term, DH is off Weds to Fri, MiL is visiting Weds to Sun and I'm holiday on Fri. Looking forward to seeing MiL, she's lovely.
Moving on to this weekend, my plan is:- Food shop
- Washing
- Ironing
- Surveys
- Housework
- Change our bed
- Cooking
Food wise, we don't need much but I do need to keep an eye on it next month.
I'm hoping to get some surveys done this weekend, I'm so close on Onepoll, it's dragging on lol

Afternoon,
Food shopping done and managed to pick up a few bottles of Trooper Hallowed for DH that he's had his eye on for ages but I've never been able to find. Happy hubby
Toilets have had gunk put down them and toilet rolls replenished.
Dishwasher has been loaded and unloaded and put away.
DH has done most of the washing and the ironing. I've changed our bed and that is happyily whizzing away in the washer.
I've gone through the paperwork on the side in the kitchen and recycled any rubbish, found my pension statements for various companies so I've put them together so I can write to them advising of change of address.
Need to pick up SIL a birthday card and get that sent off and get DH to help me put air in my tyre.
Managed to get a few surveys done this morning.0 -
Sorry to hear about DD and the school toilets, probably egged on by friends
I got called into primary school once because DS2 was imitating the teacher, I was mortified but also wanted to laugh  :rotfl:

I must admit, I did find it pretty funny. One email I will be keeping for when she's older :rotfl:0 -
Yes good to embarrass her when she is grown up and respectable :rotfl:Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Morning,
Had a very early night last night, I was in bed just after 9 and up at 6.30. I think I had too much sleep though as I feel bleurgh this morning.
Trying to figure out what things DH can do when his mum visits, she can't walk very far, so a walk around the lake at the country park is a no, although DH may take her there to show her it.
Meal ideas sorted, DH gets paid on Friday so we thought about going out for a meal.
Had confirmation through of the change in DH's car insurance premium, so that money as well as other money has been transferred over.
Need to do some cooking today and make dinner.
Nothing much else to report.0 -
Hi purplemumof2 - finally come out of lurkdom and subscribed to your diary. I used to read your previous one as well. Congratulations on your new job - things seemed to really turn around for you once you moved house as well so plenty of exciting times to look forward to. :j.
After reading your experiences of VO, I’ve decided to sign up with them!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

My mum can't walk far either, but she likes going to a garden centre, looking at the plants and then having a cup of tea in the cafe. She also loves craft centres with a cafe, where there is stuff she can look at and then go and have a drink and a chat. National Trust gardens she can sometimes manage a very short stroll and then back in the cafe :rotfl:

That's a good idea, thank Hairy. We've a nice garden centre not far from us, they've got a nice cafe and 'working' cats that patrol the place. I'll suggest that to DH0
