    Was just making sure because the cashier may think that contactless is only under £30 ( not knowing apple pay is unlimited )

    Im going to give you a crazy idea. The first time you go,take a card.
    If it doesnt work over £30,you use the card.....

    We use Applepay for more than £30 every week in Lidl

    sounds silly but the cashier may not know what apple pay is

    I think you should stick with cards. This is obviously too great a leap for you.
    I simply pay with my phone. I also don't feel the need say what brand it is.

    I am new to contactless and apple pay, its not too great of a leap, im just asking a few questions until i know more. :money:

    If it the first time using in a shop he will ask the cashier 'Do you take Applepay?' Often the reply is" I don't know. Try and see."

    If he knows it is accepted he just produces his phone.

    Why would you say Apple Pay? At most I would ask if they have contactless
