    Morning all,

Just popped in to say we will be off this morning and wish you all lots of luck. Will be going to lots of castles and NT properties so hopefully weather will be ok. It is a frosty start here but according to forecast this will be the last really cold morning for now.

Glad you had alovely time with family Alfie.

Well done on seeds win FF.

Great win mummy2 - I won that for my DH few months ago and 2 glasses. Didn't know the comp was back on. Can't find it.

Have fun with the family leanfun.

DD brought us a huge Thorntons Easter egg yesterday, as she said if she had bought it full price we would have been annoyed but because she got it reduced we were pleased!
Will pop in while away. Must get on.

    soon enough. :p

Have a brilliant time with the family leanfun - sounds as
if you are nearly there with preparations. :j

Nearly forgot - received email from RSPB re garden
    birdwatch results .....

    https://www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/birdwatch/results/

Thank you very much for taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch
2018. It's been running since 1979, so we've now got 39 years of
data to look back on. This information is vital, as is shows us the
species that need our help, and the ones that are thriving. Then
we can put steps in place to put that right.

Thanks to you, we can now reveal the top 10 garden birds in the
UK and Northern Ireland. Yet again, the house sparrow was at the
top spot. Then we have the starling at number two. In at number
three was the blue tit, followed by blackbird, woodpigeon and
goldfinch. Number seven was great tit, number eight was robin,
and in at nine and ten were long-tailed tit and chaffinch.

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care whatever
    your plans.

Firefly well done on the seeds your garden will be lovely come summer!
Oh Sheils That sounds amazing, have a wonderful time !
The comp is here (One of right instant win) ..had a few glasses and t-shirts over The years http://m2tm.wychwood-competitions.com/
Leanfun weekend sounds lovely enjoy GS xx
Thanks for the info re birdwatch Alfie must have missed the email..does it say wha birds have increased/decreased?

So I won a £50 ryanair flight voucher..Looking at Dublin for 3 nights in an Airbnb for myself and hubby is £147 ..only need to put £20 towards flights. Want to see if I can get a cheaper hotel though as I would rather spend the money on trips out when there. As long as mum can sit for the children. That would be odd never been away for more than one night since eldest was born nearly 12 years ago..eek.

Have a great weekend all, free pets a home easter bunny workshop for us, then another one with dobbies garden centre (they get discounted breakfast voucher too I think?)

Have a great weekend Mummy2threeboys. Well done on your flight voucher. We never went away when our children were young by ourselves as we had no one to look after them. I remember doing a Natural History course arnd going away for a weekend by myself with them. When I came back the three of them aged 9, 7and 5 were sat on the stairs and had written a poem about how sad it was that their mother had gone away!

Hurray Spring came today. I took GS to park. Play area was full even though it was lunch time. Great to see so many out enjoying themselves.

Feeling really proud. DGS just seven last month is really good at drawing. He is mega into dinosaurs and online found some videos on how to draw them. He is very good at it now. My neighbour across the road gave me an adults colouring book of flowers for him and some Derwent pencils she had run down. The A4 book has an illustration one side of a botanical painting other side just the outline to be coloured in. At first he said he did not want to colour flowers then decided he would colour the daffodils. He chose the colours and the result is a modern interpretation of the illustration. He had the shading to perfection. In the park I pointed out the different shades of the ropes on the climbing frame in the sunlight. I think he really got the idea of shadow today.

Just going to put him to bed others not her yet.

Hope everyone has great weekend, enjoy the sunshine and good luck.

Morning everyone, well done on the wins this week. I have 2 days off now and am off out soon to take nephew out shopping. He has the Dr's next week and hopefully he will be able to drive then as he is getting fed up not being able to take the boys out over easter holidays. My sons GF has a friend coming over later for the weekend so she will be out and about. My son has to work but he is away with his hobby group next weekend. So glad to see the weather has changed, beautiful day yesterday and although it's chilly outside at the moment they have said it will warm up later today so hopefully i can get out in garden later. Hope you all have a lucky day.
