Santander Help to Buy ISA rate increase

Announced today. In case anyone didn't know:

Help to Buy ISA (Issue 1): Was 4% now 4.25%
Help to Buy ISA 123 (Issue 1): Was 4% now 4.25%
(Both closed to new applicants)

Help to Buy ISA (Issue 2): Was 2% now 2.25%
Help to Buy ISA 123 (Issue 2): Was 2.50% now 2.75%
(Both closed to new applicants)

Help to Buy ISA (Issue 3): Was 1.5% now 1.75%
Help to Buy ISA 123 (Issue 3): Was 2% now 2.25%
(Both open to new applicants)

I still have Issue 1 so I'm very happy about the rise. It's the only Help to Buy by any provider which still pays out this much. I believe Halifax 4% originally, but they've since lowered it for existing customers.

    My partner was a few days off getting the issue 1 (gutting) but happy they aren't slashing it like they did my Halifax ISA - going to switch it to Nationwide once the rate goes up this month.

    Interesting! Where did you see this? Also considering switching from my Halifax after they slashed their rate.

    My online banking updated the interest rate.
