Im with bt and need to change my Yahoo account on my iPad and iPhone since they no longer receive or send e-mails, although strangely my Mac seems to although it stopped my e-mails for a couple of days. The Mac is still showing Yahoo but when checking the settings, incoming and outgoing servers are btinternet ones.
I can access my e-mails through my BT website.
Would I be better changing to Apple Mail or iCloud.
I know I will have to alter some settings, adding IMAP which wasn't on Yahoo,
i have asked the BT Communitybut ended up being told to go to Yahoo forums!

Works fine with IOS devices.0 -
I'm sure Yahoo has their own Mail app for iOS like they do on Android0

I have spoken with BT, it states:
- the app to which BT's website is linked no longer works for BT mail
- the only means of accessing BT email addresses is via their website
- there is no app through which BT email addresses can be accessed
- BT has migrated BT Addresses from Yahoo to their own servers but unable to confirm when this happened or who controls customer data.
- BT acknowledges it has made this without advising its customers
Is this a wheez to force BT customers into purchasing the BT Premium mail service?
Are other BT Customers willing to accept this service- seems strange a company which owns a Mobile Network Operator EE is creating obstacles to customers using mobile data - a key source of revenue.
