whiteguineapig - You've got me worried now!! Been using it for years, must have had my last bottle for at least 5! Just going to see if its stocked anywhere on 'tinternet.

Phew - still with us but no longer classified as a pesticide - used for cleaning and sterilisation in the garden/greenhouse although apparently the formulation remains exactly the same....... ;)

Yay, have kondoed a load of weeds from the front garden. After all the heavy rain last night it's softened the ground just enough to make it easy enough to weed. Happens so rarely, it's either completely sodden or baked like a brick.

You may recall my attempts to propagate our clematis, I tried layering it but stupidly picked out the growing tip. I'm not absolutely sure but I think I may have succeeded in getting the shoot to root, and where the tip was nipped out, there's growth from the next leaf joint down. It could just be flower heads, but I'm hoping it's proper useful growth. It's all still attached to the main plant so it could just be getting nutrients from that, but it's looking quite happy at the moment. Fingers crossed!

Well, it's a Bank Hol, so the garage sort out/ tidy has continued - shelves tidied and things put away properly, some of DD's stuff back from uni temporarily housed in there until she returns, random bits of stuff thrown/ recycled/ added to burning pile, 4 items to CS bag, some lawn feed and car screenwash used up and bottles recycled, several cardboard boxes broken down for recycling, 2 huge boxes of jars and bottles gone on freegle for upcycling and floor all swept :) Pretty successful day :T Oh - and 1 item identified for flebay :)

Packaging stash super tidy and organised in there now - some of it should hopefully disappear later this week with flebay items (fingers crossed)

winter to summer clothes turnaround is done, only 6 items to put out and I was dithering about 4 anyway. Nothing gets worn out, so next year I am sticking to three thin knitted tops, I have more but the more I wear them, the quicker they will wear out. 23 empty hangers put away, probably due to re-vamping drawer space the other day, making room, which is now filled

I would be so tempted to sew but doing kondo has made me realise that I have no need of more hm clothing, which I wear in preference to shop bought, so reading it is instead

I have been trained :D kondo has trained me. I am now buying for one person, never thought my mind would change :D

bought 2 x size D batteries instead of 6 to have some spare, haha for when? two years time

one squeezy honey instead of 6 which were cheaper, that would have taken me another 3 years to use

One ecover washing up liquid instead of a few, just because it was reduced

The stash food and cleaning brain washing is being deleted, slowly :D

DD1 also asked for some 'new' clothes, and identified some winter clothes in her wardrobe, so an exchange was made with clothes from/to the attic.

The pair of secondhand sandals I bought at the WI pop-up shop developed a tear across the soles of both shoes at the first wear, so they are now in the boot of my car. The shoe shops here regularly give you a discount if you hand in an old pair of shoes, and I have grown wise to not discard all old shoes immediately.

DH has come back with dresses for the 3 of us. Absolutely gorgeous top-skirt combos for the dds, .... but too small....... and now I'm mad... I gave him all measurements on a piece of paper, I even drew an outline of a person (1 for each dd) and indicated all measurements. Then, I sent him everything through email, and then, he whatsapped me when he was at the dressmaker's and I whatsapped him a picture of the paper he had in his luggage, and typed all the measurements again. I even impressed upon him that both dds are tall and that he needs to make sure the dresses are for girls at least 2 years older. Now, I'm making him look for a dressmaker's that can remake the top for dd1. It's the only African dress she has, where dd2 has about 10 (her own, and dd1's old ones).

    Morning all, remember me?
I've been hugely busy so not been about in a while, but I've passed my exam applied for my dream job. Will find out next week if I get called for an interview. Now it's half term hubby and the boys are all at work so I'm doing a second sweep of kondoing the kitchen. Yes I know I'm not supposed to do a room but I've done two sweeps of the house so the kitchen is the lucky room that's been picked for deep clean and kondo catch up today.

    I hope everyone is well.

Over the last few weeks we have emptied several plastic ice cream containers, and I am now joyfully thinking out what small items they will hold:

    - the tiny playmobil parts
    - the tiny barbie parts
    - the new batteries
    - ......
