At least in November you will be earning more in your new job so you can pay off the debts more quickly, hopefully :)

Some months do have to be written off unfortunately, often due to circumstances out of our control :( I am having an expensive month this month due to socialising that we don't normally do

Have you noticed that on DFW we are often more encouraging to others than we are to ourselves. Perhaps we need to try and be kinder and more encouraging to ourselves, but it is harder. I don't mean you in particular purplemum, just speaking generally :)

There's nothing wrong with having a lighter month or two on the debtbusting front, you've got a lot to think about otherwise. If you are earning more, you'll soon catch up again!

    Evening,

DD went to the school disco tonight, total cost £4. £3 ticket (paid last month) and we were told no more than £1 needed tonight....frugal and DD had a great time.

Dinner was a rush though for us three, we had omelette and chips, used up the eggs from the fridge and the remainder of the chips out of the freezer. DD had a curry ready meal from the freezer.

Will update my survey list tomorrow but I did get a 10p bonus payment in PA.

Need to dig out the Cap One card from its hiding place so I can change the password and log in tomorrow. I'm itching to pay the PA money off it.

A splash of diesel was bought tonight, £20.48, hopefully will last next week.

DH should get his expenses paid in tomorrow, I suspect that half of it will go out but we should be ok.

Have a nice evening. Friday tomorrow and I'm out for drinkies :j:beer:

    Morning,

    Surveys to date:

    £0.44 PA + £0 pending
£36.45 OP need £40 to withdraw
£6.85 PP need £50 to withdraw
£6.00 VO need £10.50 for voucher
£6.00 PB need £10 to withdraw

    £10 Quidco pending

Still can't get on to Cap One website, so DH will need to ring them to unlock the account.

PA is very quiet at the moment, hope it picks up.

VO vouchers, I'm aiming to get two John Lewis vouchers for SiL/BiL number 2 for Christmas and then they're done. Hopefully this will be done by the end of the November.

I was hoping to cash out on Onepoll this month but it looks like this will be November, still it'll be a nice chunk off the Cap One card. I will have to keep this one going next year.

PB is building up slowly again, hopefully next week I can cash out on this one, again another one I will have to keep going next year.

Dh's expenses went in to the bank overnight, so we are solvent for a bit, until I need to transfer the other money over.

Off to think about November's goals.......

Yay! Hubby got the Cap One unlocked and password has now been changed. PA payment has been paid and the balance is now £529.05

That I'm happy about, we should be under the 500 mark by Christmas and all purely from 'free' money :j

October review, so I can keep track.

    Good points:

Got a new job to go to :D
Surveys are my lifesaver at the moment
    Cap One card is reducing
Got some mascara to trial (its the little things)
Both kids are getting on well at school
Got some of the family Christmas presents sorted

    Bad points:

    Didn't hit my NSD target
    Didn't hit my AFD target
Haven't hit my lunches to work target
Still working for the same @rsed company but only for the next three weeks :j:T:D
Meal plan has gone to pot

    Now on to November

November is going to be better, okay it won't be spectacular but I can work properly on the debt once Christmas is out of the way.

    Goals:
    • 10 or more AFD's - Keep track
    • 10 NSD's - Keep track - Need to log it on here I think
    • 10 Lunches to work days
    • £10 per week allowance and keep track - doesn't impact my NSD's
    • Meal plan
    • Keep an eye on the food budget
    • Pay more off the BC with survey money
    • Build up Onepoll to cash out and pay off BC

Lol I usually manage 30/30, it just sends me to sleep so I don't tend to drink it! I need CFD - cheese/crisps/chocolate free days instead.

Thanks, got one PT temp job already but it's not started yet because of paperwork needed. Got an agency interview next week and an interview the week after for a charity fundraiser post, but not really sure what I should be doing after a long time in one career.
