Best landline free/4G router?

Options
I’m moving business premises and I can’t have a landline in the building so everyone else uses a landline free router as the transmitter is outside the building.

EE do these but it is an expensive contract. Does anyone know which other companies do these?

three £20 plan for 12 months or smarty £25 per 30 days
Huawei B525, around £100 on ebay.

or three homefi £22 per month for 24 month

I would recommend you found someone who have three network on their phone to test the speed before commit to anything.
Or you get a free sim from three webpage and top up £2 to have a test.

Thank you for the reply. It was very insightful.

If I’m understanding this right if I bought the Huawei B525 router I can then get a sim card with a data plan and plug it into the router and it will work as a WiFi router?

Just check that you've got good 3 coverage where you are first.

    Correct.

And you don't need to restrict to 'Data plan' if you sign up with three. Normal 'phone plan' would do.

If you intend to sign up with three, don't forget the extra cashback through quidco.

i do not recommend TCB, as it didn't track mine when I sign up to three.

The HomeFi comes with a different router included - all depends on what you need and how long.

Any reason why you'd buy that over say, the Huawei E5573C for around £40?

OP asked for 4G router not mifi.
E525 have LAN port and phone port at back.
Also E525 is LTE CAT6 with 802.11 ac

    E5573 is LTE CAT4 with 802.11n
However, E5573 which locked with three is only £12 + £1.5 delivery from CEX

I bought a Huawei B310 on ebay last year for £45 which came with a couple of 9dB antennas although I use it with a proper external 4G antenna as the cell is over a couple of miles away. Along with the external antenna connectors and the RJ45 it has WiFi although only 2,4GHz so I use it with a fairly cheap dual band AP.

If it is going to be a longterm solution you may as well get something free on one of the contracts. I already had a SIM only contract which I was using on a MiFi but wanted better external antenna connectors than that had.

I have a Huawei B310 mounted on top of a pole outside. The speed isn't exactly blistering but I'm glad to get anything considering the nearest mast is 8 miles away on the other side of the hill and we are in a deep valley.

What external 4G antenna you are using?

I have a Zyxel LTE4506-M606 and thinking about get Huawei instead.
