Great stuff. At least they have acknowledged there is a problem and along the lines you suggested "false, positives".

Will never understand why anyone uses a paid for internet security software anyway.

Plenty of decent free alternatives including the built in windows one
Thank you, but your belief in this protection does not appear to be shared by everybody.
So why should I believe you?

Hi Beejays. Received this from Kaspersky .....

    Dear customer,

Our Virus Specialists have informed me that it was a false/positive detection and that the site has been unblocked. The issue will be resolved via a database update in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

    Thank you.

So that's a relief, but also quite annoying too. They've given no reason why it happened, why all those banks and financial institutions, etc, were flagged up as "dangerous urls", so I've asked them to explain how this situation has arisen.

Well, you came and asked ... if you don't like the answer, I'm not sure what else 'we' can say.

Erm ... you said this ...

.... but was wondering if anybody can shed light on the current message I'm receiving regarding Santander. It's never happened before and there is no problem when logging on to my other bank account.
    Thank you.

Why would you believe that Kaspersky is trustworthy, when not everybody shares your belief, including some Governments??
