Oh no, Watty. Focus on the fact that you have realised and started to sort it out - at least you realised now and not another month further along and you're taking proactive steps to sort it out. Hope you manage to get some more food down today - keeping up your strength is important, especially when there's no one else who can take up the slack when you are SE (speaking from experience!).
Take care xMortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Oh Watty, sending you a massive hug. At least you have noticed, and you have started taking action to rectify things.

Oh Watty, just take it step by step, one rectification at a time. If any of that involves other people I'm sure you will find them more understanding and compassionate than you first think xxMortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: - sounds like some dodgy hugs are required!
As others have said before me, Watty - you have now realised the error. Better now than another 3 months down the line. Hopefully the corrections will start to come into play soon and you can assess where you are xxI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Oh no, Watty, so sorry to read. As others have said, at least you've noticed, have a plan, and are putting it into action. I hope the consequences aren't as severe as you think.
(If it helps to look at it differently - as depressing as a year of just-staying-afloat would be, especially with the other upheaval in your life, at least you've got the house paid off and you can feed yourselves/the animals/etc.)0 -
Sending hugs, hope you can get it sorted.0

Thank you so much you lovely lot. You really are a joy
So printer came up trumps, and collected the stuff I needed today and I started emailing people last night to explain situation. I'm putting it right. I may just wriggle out of this one ok thanks to noticing on new years eve and being able to start putting things right.
And yes as hidden as pointed out, this house is paid off. And that is a very reassuring place to be in.
There is just a chance I might wriggle out of this one without the steep fines I am expecting. Wont know for a few weeks but lets see......Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Fingers crossed it comes good. X0
