Maybe it's a simple typo. I'm sure Lidl will be happy to know if you tell them.

I did contact them about it and below is the silly reply they sent me.
    Dear NorthOfUtopia

    Re: Advertisement

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

I can confirm that the item is made from 100% cotton and is 35% cotton. This means that 35% of the t-shirt is 100% cotton.

    I hope this helps.

    Yours sincerely,
For and on behalf of Lidl UK GmbH

Unfortunatly this shows the problem with customer questions.

The people answering it are not experts and will try anything to avoid saying something is wrong as they might have to contact another department.

You should tweet it at them for conformation.

So basically what they are saying (from what I am reading) is that 35% of the garment is made of 100% cotton :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Dwy galon, un dyhead,
    Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
    Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
    Dau enaid ond un taith.

I think I'd show the press that, just to embarrass Lidl and in particular Melissa Dickson.
    It's nothing , not nothink.

Don't complain, if its 100% cotton then it must be 150% polyester. You are getting 250% for the price of 100%

Why?? It says it's made from 100% cotton, it doesn't say it IS 100% cotton. The (35%) cotton is indeed 100% cotton.

Or put it another way the cotton they use (all 35% of it) is 100% cotton. As opposed to what exactly :rotfl::rotfl:
