Its all about finding the balance - I got into a good habits second half of last year - gym every other day then I changed positions and locations at work and bang it was 3 steps back 0 steps forward. So I need to find a way as well, but your healthy eating and well being regime are a great place to start - just need to set a goal for a brisk walk every day and I think you might be surprised how easy it is to fit in especially on your day off when you can go a bit longer (and walking is free)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks for all the encouraging comments. They really help You are right Mark88, my next target will be a brisk daily 30 minute walk.
Yesterday I finally made an appointment (eat that frog! ) to try and open another account that offers household emergency cover, travel insurance, car breakdown, mobile insurance… If I get it I will be pleased as it is an account I can use for discretionary spending and it will enable better budgeting along with a host of benefits I need. We shall see…
Last year I stressed and beat myself up about the state of the garden. I had to be forced by a friend to get the gardener in to clear the front and back gardens. This year I am going to cut out the bit where I dither, stress out and promise to do it and just phone the gardener now instead. I have to accept I can’t do a full-time job, a second job through the summer and do all I wish to do on the house too.
I have just called the gardener. I didn’t have the money until pay day, but I guessed he would be booked up for the next few weeks anyway and he is! I spoke to his wife and she will look at the diary and call this evening.
I have a plasterer coming this evening so I need to clean the kitchen today. This should be possible as WFH so I can do it at lunchtime and when on downtime.
I am going TV free this evening and will pack my bags for my hols instead of leaving it until the last minute.
My squirrel issue isn’t being resolved and this is a disappointment. I can’t get the damaged (by the squirrels) electrics sorted until they go…
Other than that all is okay in DIA land
I hope all is well wherever you are too. Sending you positive vibesIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

The good news is I worked on my kitchen all day yesterday and it is now clean and there are no dirty dishes. It is cleaner than it has been in months. :T I am going to steam clean the kitchen floor to top it off today too.
I cleaned the kitchen because a plasterer was coming to do a quote.
The bad news is he did not show. No phone call. Nothing. I am glad I know he is unreliable. I will keep looking and tomorrow I will identify another plasterer. I still have another coming Thursday morning.
I need to chase the gardener and I have a medical appointment this morning. I am going to walk to the appointment briskly (30/40 minutes away) and do the same coming back.
I discovered my Glyndebourne invitation includes a 3 course dinner, I was sent the menu options today. It prompted me to look for something to wear. I have a dress but it is too tight. So the diet starts here. It is easier to lose weight with a goal in mind, so that is my new project.
I better get a wiggle on.

I attended my hospital appointment and it went well. Fingers crossed for a good result.
I have been in contact with my gardener and I have a date straight after I come back from holiday. :T
I have eaten healthily and walked around.
I worked part of the day and didn’t really want to.
Some wonky avocados purchased at Mr. M.
I always feel a bit weary when prodded about by hospital staff so going to potter this evening, pack my bag for holiday and watch too much TV
Hope you enjoy your eveningIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

All sounding good DIA, hope your results are good.
You inspired me to get the worst of the rubbish in my front garden taken to the tip today. I'll get back on to quotes for properly it when I've moved the van project on a bit, but thank you for reminding me that I don't have to do everything myself
