    Well done. You inspired me - and I have withdrawn £3.60 from Qu£dco which I will OP on my mortgage too. I have £146 tracked in there waiting to be cashed out - but if I get bigger lump sums - should pay off my CC really.

    I'd concentrate on the CC unless it's interest free as it will be at a higher interest rate than your mortgage.

    Good Morning!

    I'm just dropping in quickly as we'll be away for the next few days, but I wanted to report that I've hit my July OP target! £90.47/£90.47 :j

    As I work better with targets, I think I'll set a new target to be achieved by the end of August ... just need to work out what that will be.

    Hi!

    We're back from a weekend away, which was lovely. This was our summer break with DD's as we've still got to finish paying for our wedding. We self catered, so out of pocket spends only included ice cream and a couple of coffees.

    I've spent the morning washing the clothes and getting them on the line while the weather is nice.

    While we were away, I spent some time thinking about this months OP goal (£300). I've gone big to try and push myself (please note that my definition of 'big' is relative to us being a one income household). It's going to mean a bit of creativity and discipline, but I'm going to give it a go :money:

    Good morning!

    Thanks for dropping in Tallulah, really nice to *meet* you!

    I've had a productive start to the day;

    -Bank balances checked, balanced and CC paid off (wedding spends/xmas items bought in sales).

    - I have set myself a weekly budget of £50 cash for this week. I spent £4.31 yesterday on 2 bottles of milk & eggs and have been to Aldi today to get the weekly shop (£40.86, including a new mop bucket).

    In other news, I am almost at a payout point on both Ipsos and swagbucks so will try to get those hit by the end of the day. That would be £10 worth of income. I have also tried to get back into audio typing and done a couple of really short jobs yesterday (as I have been a bit lax of late).

    I think I need to find ways of keeping this fun and not feeling like a chore (because that's when I park up at procrastination station!).

    Off the starting blocks currently at £17.48/£300 for my July/Aug 6 week OP target.

    £10 was from cashing out on a survey site and swagbucks, plus £7.48 from money in budget that had not been allocated.

    Good Afternoon,

    Just dropping in to declare an NSD ... I know the day isn't over yet, but we went on a day trip for £0 and are not planning to spend anything for the remainder of the day, so I'm declaring it a success!

    I feel that OH is jumping onto the frugal train as we used the free bowling voucher I won for a morning out and we both agreed ahead of time that we would be home in time to eat from what we had as opposed to eating out.

    I have committed some time this evening to working on making in roads into the OP target ... let's just hope they're fruitful!
