Thanks Denise! I'm really pleased with the progress so far.

    Do you have a diary?

No I don't. I've actually paid off my mortgage now but still like to see how others are doing.

Thanks for stopping by CosmoCat & Savingholmes :hello: The company is always welcome x

It's amazing how the small bits here and there add up over time, and it makes me feel like I'm making a financial contribution while being a SAHM ;)

I had another ebay sale today, I packaged this and posted it on the school run. After postage and fees, I made £0.83 :rotfl: It was a lower value item, but I'm just thinking of it as extra space in my house, another person gets an item they'll use ... plus I made 83p for my mortgage :D

I'm now at £71.26/£90.47 for my July target.

    £19.21 to go :j

    Good Evening x

It's been a fruitful day here and NHS towers ... I've repainted the porch (with paint we already had), have sold another item (due to be collected and paid for tomorrow) and spent some quality time with OH and both DD's.

I had another item under offer this morning but despite having multiple pictures and detailed listing information, the potential buyer was messing about and frankly it wasn't worth the hassle for a lower value item. I've de-listed it and will offer to family/friends.

I'm trying to look at our home through the eyes of a prospective buyer and start tackling all of those little jobs that get put off or become acclimatized to. We won't be listing the house this year, but there is a feeling of change not being too far off ... if that makes ANY sense??? :rotfl:

I do that too. 2 years ago we redecorated both kids rooms, new carpet and some new furniture, last year we repainted the ensuite, family bathroom and downstairs toilet the same colour (coastal grey) and for the upstairs bathrooms put new vinyl flooring down on top of wood to make everything level. OH had dented our garage door a few years ago so we finally got around to replacing that with an electronic garage door. This year I have the money to.... declutter!!!! I do have some paint that I bought to do other projects but not had the energy yet. OH wants to do the patio - I've asked him to wait a year so we can concentrate on getting CC debt free.
