41.94 miles last week. I hope the snow stays away! I need to do 33 miles a week to do my target, so I'm well over that.

I have 2 weeks mileage to add:

    37.95 and 45.44 miles

This brings me to 172.63 miles so far this year.
Seems I am on track but that elusive 50 miles still evades me. :)
    Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £60

So excited as I’ve added last weeks miles to my total and I’m over 100. Feels like I’m making progress now :j :j :j

Was predicted bad weather for the rest of the week here but every time I check my weather app it’s changed so I’m quite hopeful the forecast will be wrong and I’ll be able to walk partway to work for the rest of the week :D

How does everyone keep going when it’s drizzle/sleet/snow etc?

As I am running its fairly easy, I just put a hat on so I don't get snow/sleet/rain in my eyes and crack on. I really like running in a morning in the ice so it actually helps me a bit.

The dogs need to go out whatever the weather - and as they are sled dogs they are loving this week.
I was sort of hoping that run club would be cancelled again due to an icy track but it seems to be on so I will go. Brrr!

I went - it was fun and I soon forgot about the cold. The coach is encouraging me to sign up for a 10k in May which sounds achievable. He is lovely and specialises in endurance rather than speed - he is the over 80s club champ in both road/cross country and marathon.

I'm up to 51.4 miles for January and although I'm 32 miles behind where I'd need to be in order to hit 1000 miles in 2019 if all my months were equal, I'm happy with this as I've been very unwell and am hoping to be a lot more active in a few months time. My aims for Jan, Feb and Mar (depending on when my op is scheduled for, seeing the consultant tomorrow!) are to keep moving but to take it easy and listen to my body.

I love our interval training runs, we did 12x400m (200m jog recovery on Monday) it was great fun.

10ks are great, personally my 2nd or 3rd favourite event, just run hard from the off and keep going :rotfl: no pacing involved.

we were doing 100m run fast, 100m jog recovery, 200m run at distance pace, 100m recovery and repeat. I think the variety made it more fun although there wasn't much difference between my fast and my distance paces by the end!! Early days.
