I am, I save the money all year so I can spend it if I want, but if I don't spend it, the. It adds to savings or overpayments and that's better than spending.

This month I want to 'repay' myself for the plastering work already carried out and paid for (£165) and try and 'get ahead' on my mfw 2019 challenge. I'm fed up of the spreadsheet saying 'slightly behind' because I don't register my ops until the end of the month.

We shall see, I think I've got 1 day of work overtime to claim this month, so that will help a little bit too.

So, spends today we're on:

Duck food
Ice cream
£1 for the swimming locker (swimming pool closed, but hubby has pocketed the £1)
Cheese
Tilly tidies
Hmmm think that's it:

Unused allowance in bank from previous days - £61
Tomorrow's allowance: £25

Total £110.50

Market day tomorrow, so it will take a hit as I want to top up the fruit & veggies.

So, today - spends day... (as anticipated!
Spensive supermarket: over £17 for a 'few bits' it's all branded stuff as they don't do own brand for many of the things I needed. 43p each for really basic yoghurts. Ouch!!!! I stuck to my list though.

Then the butchers - 3 items.... £13 ouchy ouchy, but it's good quality stuff.

Treaty breakfast out for Pickle and I.

Then, this afternoon (it's market day)
Soft fruit
Marmalade
The most expensive olives EVER!!! (Won't be getting any more of those, who knew Olives were so heavy?)

All of which means I've massively over spent on Today's allowance, but we are good overall.

Here's the lie of the land for tomorrow:

Cash in purse £53.50 (£50 taken out of bank today)
Unused allowance still in bank: £0
Allowance for tomorrow: £25.00

Total: £78.50

This means a total spend today (including tilly tidies, some appropriate change needed for emergency toilet stop, and a £2 coin to be put in the £2 jar) comes to: £57.
So, just over 2 day's worth of allowance...


Hopefully tomorrow will be a low spend day.
