    Turns out that the cheer coach has now paired dd with that girl for part of a routine...

    I - obviously - really feel for dd as she uses up so much emotional energy dealing with this stuff.

    Today's event was a y4 boy 'bouncing off' her, a total accident, and dd having big scrapes on one knee, the same side lower arm, and her chinny chin chin!

    I am finished with work for the week, which is always a great feeling. I have yet to do today's bunnyslope workout (#7), but may manage it once dd is sleeping. So at about 9.30pm, then!

    Dh has finished the roof, and will try some gutter repairs next week.

    Tomorrow:
    -change bedding
    -whites wash
    -coffee shop with dh
    -small food shop?
    -exam board login check x2
    -marking (bless my y13s for writing so many essays for me....:rotfl:)
    -clean windows
    -do a workout
    -make optician appointments - for me and for dd

    Dd did NOT want to go to school today, and the HT had to take her in. Poor thing. She is tired, bruised and getting a cold.

    Dh and I had our coffee and did a small shop. We got caught in an unexpected total downpour on the way home!

    Workout done - zwow 45: [FONT=&quot]Big Bang Workout Buy in: 30 Competition burpees with knee hug (down, roll over, knee hug, roll back, up + jump!); 2x 10 wall stand w push up (wall handstand, turn + do push up); 20 DB squat jump; 10 plank DB row + knee tuck; 10x 3 jump lunge + side kick. Did it with 5k DB, which may have been a tad too heavy...

    We have discovered that dd's dance school now does 'musical theatre' straight after her classes. And she wants to go, of course, especially as they are loking at Matilda this term.

    Icyland have sent me info where they'll give me £5 if I spend £15 twice. So I shall mosey on down there later, and try to spend enough. We may end up with a stockpile of kitchen roll...!

    Dd asked me to cut her hair last night. More came off than either of us intended, but she does look super cute...

    All dance classes done.

    Icyland visit done.

    C0sta visit done, so that dd could eat some lunch.

    Ch shops visited and bargains gained. Hello Kitty flanelette single sheet, boden trousers, black shirt and blue top all for £4. A sleeping bag for dd (£3) [we are doing a weekend camping in May, but have almost no suitable stuff, including a tent! Lovely friend is loaning some equipment, phew!], a double thickness exercise/camping mat for £1, Tracey Beaker dvd, Hello Kitty helmet and knee pads, shorts, 4 sewing mags, tiny decorative bows, book for around £5.30

    Now to hang the washing up and then relax.

    Woken up to glorious sunshine, and a frost. Lovely.

    earthgirl - we are very fortunate with our charity shops. There is a 'mini one pound' shop where dd goes for dance, which is always worth a look. Half of it is clothing, the other is stuff. And the other area we went to has 4 good shops, but I think we are simply much more selective than previously. I find that giving dd a certain amount to spend makes her consider her purchases carefully!

    Am rather glad the workday is done.

    Went in not looking forward to my y10 class at the end of the day, but determined not to let it spoil the rest of the day. But before it arrived, there was an incident during one of my lessons which needed an ambulance. I am so grateful for my colleagues, and for the class I had at the time. And the y10 lesson went fine after all.

    Another NSD in the bag. Some online admin bits and bobs done. Now to relax.
