Reading a very good Jodi Piccoult at the moment, though I think I've guessed the ending. Everything is being done at warp speed then I can get back to my book. Have informed OH that the less he nags me a bout reading the quicker I'll get through it!

Have chopped up some veggies to roast so I can take them for lunch this week. Feel proud of myself as I took my lunch for the whole of last week. Its a long time since I managed that. OH is busy fitting new toilet seats as they both gave up at the same time. We know how to live us. Got some pork into roast. All the chaps have completed their homework so another thing less to remind (nag) about. Think DD1 is going to attack the ironing pile as she wants money for Turkey.

Money is going to be tight this week as we are still on OHs holiday rate. Fuel is going to be a struggle, both cars have fuel in but wether it lasts for the week we could literally be pushing it!!!

Finished the book and I did guess the ending but it was a great read. Lost 0.5lb last night. Well chuffed as I've eaten like a heifer last week. DS2s birthday today. He's a happy chappy with his loot. He's also requested roast beef for tea which I've asked a friend to prep for me, so i'll get that later.

Still not heard anything from the house seller, going to look at another one tomorrow evening.

hi lucielle I can relate to the unhappy childhood thing but books were my saving grace... I regularly re-read childhood books and buy kids books still which I share with the kids! Like you trying to do a better job on my kids than was done on me...

Just had amammoth house cleaning session so I don't have to do it on my day off tomorrow. Not got anything planned but looking forward to having the house to myself. Hoping the weather will be nice then I can get some washing out. I might even start baking Christmas cakes if I've got the ingredients in.

Must complete DS2s passport application that's top of the list.
