    Before I pack, I need to:

    Go to work
    Write a whilst I'm away list for my colleagues
    Ask the neighbours to chicken sit
    Buy car tax
    Research and buy car insurance
    Power wash the chicken coop
    Pot up some seedlings
    Clean the house
    Walk 15,075 steps/day
    Wash, dry and iron clothes
    Oh and buy a suitcase!
    Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
    Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)

    Pot up some seedlings
    Clean the house
    Walk 15,075 steps/day - at 14,500 so will meet target by bedtime
    Wash, dry and iron clothes - 1 load of laundry done
    Oh and buy a suitcase!

    Made a start on the list (and also paid all the CC bills due whilst we're away) but now I've had a drink and I CBA :p

    HFW's tahini-dressed green bean & courgette salad for dinner - the recipe is a keeper - we added spelt to bulk it out a bit :D

    SNAP! There was spelt in our tea too :D Only spelt flour though, crafted into the shape of a pizza base. Bought a bag on our recent sojourn round and about the organic spelt producing belt of Great Britain :D

    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
