    Thanks Elizabeth :).

I must admit as soon as my children were born I had an insight into how much stress my parents felt, not that I was a wild child by any means.

I love lists, they help me to feel on top of things and therefore more relaxed :).

I didn't realise the post office did that, I'll have to look into that.

One Poll is a company I have been meaning to join. I joined Panel Base recently but so far have been screened out of ALL of the surveys they have sent, so not too impressed with that one . PA and You Gov are my current favourites; although YG is slow it is at least reliable.

I slept well again for 7 hours so feel more refreshed.

I felt a bit tearful before I went to sleep due to DS2 wanting to go back to America so soon and for much longer :(, but I feel a bit better this morning. I just need to adjust to the idea.

    Today tasks are:

Some work matters that need dealing with
Papers to drop off to the accountants
Help DS2 sort out his unpaid council tax
Remind DS2 to give notice on the flat he has never lived in
    More laundry
    Check for surveys

Have a good Friday everyone, it's nearly the weekend :T.

I feel more cheerful this evening so my two nights of good sleep must have done me good :).

I didn't achieve everything on my list, partly because DS2 didn't wake up 5.00pm . He must still be on American time. But the work stuff got done so I'm pleased with that :T.

I feel more relaxed this evening. I've had a shower and washed my hair and I'm about to start a quick dinner. I've remembered to put down the Christmas tablecloth so the kitchen is looking festive. After that we're going to relax with a Christmas film :rudolf::xmassmile.

DH has caught DS2's infection . He woke up with a dreadful headache, sore throat and is cold, despite sitting wrapped in a duvet with the heating on :(.

I just hope I don't catch it . I took some echinaccea last night and this morning to try and ward it off. DH didn't take any last night which may be why he caught it. DS2 on the other hand is very much on the mend, but still too tired to walk to the supermarket so wanted a lift from DH last night.

I'm going to leave DH dosed up with pain killers and nip into town quickly, before I come down with it. I want to get a few last minute Christmas bits and have my charity shop trawl and my latte :D.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday :).

Best to stay out of the way Hairy - you don't want to be ill for Christmas.

By contrast with you feeling sad DS is off to America again, here's me desperate for my DD to go somewhere - just a week would do :rotfl:

    Enjoy your day :)

:rotfl::rotfl: DC always do the opposite of what you want them to do. If you want them to stay they go and if you want them to go they cling on like leeches :rotfl:.
