Try used tea bags soaked with olbas oil on bare soil - cats hate the smell and the teabags blend in with the earth.
Have a plant sprayer filled with water ready to go - a few good squirts should divert their interests elsewhere (only works if you are at home, of course!)0 -
For future reference if anybody else is reading this and wanting to lay shingle, we found that when we had pea shingle put down the cats made a beeline for it. We had it covered with some half inch grade shingle and that sorted the problem, they don't like digging in the bigger stones.Make £2024 in 2024

Are you certain that it's cats? They are usually very clean animals and rarely leave their poo uncovered.0

Well they certainly leave it in my garden......although i have had some success with a pump action supersoaker gun filled with water & white vinegar on a particular tabby cat twice:D0 -

I can't think what it's called, it but it looks like little blobs of nuclear green jelly and garden centres sell it. A good sniff certainly clears the sinuses - and cats (and dogs) hate the smell.0
