Any websites that do complicated itineraries?

I'm looking to travel to Australia with my family, but need to do quite a detailed booking with hotels in different places for a few days at a time, internal flights etc. Is there a website that will allow that level of detail? For example: Flying London to Melbourne, 5 night stay in Melbourne hotel, fly to Townsville, 7 night stay, fly to Brisbane, 3 nights stay, fly home. I don't mind booking the internal flights myself, but i was hoping to save money by booking the hotels with the flights.

    I've always found them to be quite expensive, but I haven't used them for a long time so worth a try.

    Simple itin really that is easily to DIY.

    Trailfinders may get a discount on the hotels with flights but I bet you could do better DIYing.

    FYI
    If you start your journey not in UK it could be significantly cheaper.

    Though this usually works best for the higher class cabins.

    BA has a good flight and hotel multi-stop tool on their website, but it will not work if the internal flights do not have BA flight numbers.

    I would concentrate on picking the flights on new A350 A380 B787, not B787 economy, aircraft with good timings to lessen the effects of jet lag and tiredness.

    I think you'll be better off DIYing. Get an open jaw flight LON-MEL and BNE-LON and then getting everything yourself in between.

    Sites like Expedia will allow you to add a hotel for part of your stay, so you might be able to book your flights and first hotel in Melbourne. But do compare prices, in my experience I've never found it significantly cheaper than just booking a flight and hotel myself. The BA tool recommended above is worth looking at though, even as a comparison.

    Just book it all separately yourself. Much cheaper too

    I've used Trailfinders and done DIY trips to both Australia and New Zealand and both have their advantages.

    Remember your time is money, people always seem to ignore factoring that in.

    I totally agree about Trailfinders, they have specialist knowledge which you may never come across on your own. On the other hand I like going places that others don't so I tend to make it up as I go along once there (wherever "there" is).

    My time isn't money, I have plenty of it spare & enjoy doing my own research. Others are different.
    Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

    I do most of my research whilst at work so my time is their money;)

    Even when I do research at home ,my time is free time as no-one is offering my £££££££££££ to do something else.
