    yes, broccoli at 49p was the other one on offer this week in my local Aldi. Tesco are doing broccoli heads at 2 for £1 as well, although the Aldi broccoli heads looked a bit bigger. Didn't check the weight.

    The leeks though were really too huge for my liking, two in a packet, but they looked rather too old and 'woody' so I left them.

    No leeks or potatoes at my local Aldi in Hatfield. I did get sprouts 39p, cucumber 25p, a lovely cauliflower for 43p and chantennay carrots 39p so I was pretty happy. I'll pop back later in the week for potatoes.

    on a monday in my local aldi they have the new offers out but also they have the leftover offers from the previous week, so you have more choice of the cheaper prices...

    Does anyone know if the potatoes are Maris Piper ?

    They were last week and had ‘Specialty Potatoes’ in large writing on the packaging and also had a small description label saying ‘Maris Piper 2.5kg’ so may be easily missed.

    I went into Hounslow this afternoon and popped into Aldi while I was there. I noticed that the spuds are actually Cara potatoes which again can be found on the small description label.
