  • Must get my bum in gear and get down to Aldi this week then. My son of 6 months loves butternut squash but I grudge nearly £2 from tescos.

    I bought the frozen puff pastry in bulk during my last shop....49p!!!!!!!!! Wow, that is a massive saving to other supermarkets. Great for doing quick bacon puffs, a quickie home made version of pizza, peach puffs, pie toppings, cut into strips and twist into fingers and coat with poppy/sesame seeds for buffets, etc, etc..... Bargain!

    The packet size is about half that of the other supermarkets though.
