    Sold more things on ebay and I now have £60.91 in my paypal account. I also listed another 5 things last night that are due to end on Thursday.

    Printed off my credit card statements today and it has really annoyed me. I really need to make some more cash and get these cards cleared ASAP. I am really worried that I am going to struggle to clear these while I am on maternity pay. Getting a bit stressed out now :(

    Stressed to the max today! :(

    I logged onto my online banking this morning to see I have £17.99 left in my account. This was all I had left until 15th September when I get paid. I know I will need petrol before then and possibly a bit of a food shop so it will never last. I had to transfer in my £60 from my paypal account. So I now have £77.99 to last. Is this doable?

    I have my savings but I really don't want to touch them as I need as much money as I can to buy baby essentials and for maternity leave. This has been a really long month with 5 weekends and I don't seem to have budgeted properly. So stressed out over it all today.

    I have 8 things listed on ebay so hopefully that will get me another few pounds. I really wanted to use that money to pay off the barclaycard. I am so annoyed with myself.

    If anyone actually reads this have you any tips on how I can make extra cash? I can't work any more hours at work. I am salaried so it makes no difference how many hours I do. DH has been doing some overtime lately so hopefully we get that in Septembers pay.

    I need to take a deep breath! :(

    ok, so this talking to myself business is great!

    I have got 5 things ending on ebay later. 4 of them have bids so hopefully that's at least another £20. I also forgot I have a few gift cards with money on them. I have £20 for Sainsbury's and £13 for M&S so that will keep my food topped up for a while which means I won't need to touch the bank account.

    Just paid £9.50 off my barclaycard. So in total I have paid £129.50 this month. It's a bit less than I would have liked but at least it is going down. Hopefully I can pay more off it next month. It won't be long before it is below £1k! :j

    So I needed to get a few food bits in yesterday and only used gift cards that I had for M&S and Sainsbury's. I didn't touch the bank account at all. I still have £60 left in the account and the only thing I will need to get is petrol. Only 6 more days until payday!!

    Just paid another £16.15 off the barclaycard. My bills for the month are all out of my bill account so I had some money left over. So £16.15 went to Barclaycard and £10 went into the baby fund.

    Need to get petrol today. I have a 2p off a litre voucher so will use that too.

    Also have you rang B'card to see if they can lower the APR for you? Sometimes they will and it has no adverse effects on your credit rating, me and OH rang last month and they reduced mine from 29.9% to 6.9% for 2 years and OH's from 19.9% to 9.9% :) it's worth a call :) xx

    My barclaycard is at 0% at the minute until February as it only has some of a balance transfer left on it. I'm really hoping to have it paid off by February.


    Today is payday. £166.79 has come off the loan, £120 off barclaycard, £50 off the overdraft and £50 off the halifax card! I'm getting there slowly but surely! I also put some money into the baby pot so that now stands at £720.30! :j
