Good timing Gallygirl, I've been watching her daily since February  Lots of time spent waiting and waiting but actually it's quite relaxing tooMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I didn't get anything on ebay but we had a fabulous roast dinner, Mum came round and we played trivial pursuit too. I made a victoria sponge with lemon buttercream which was yummy
The washing basket is empty (and dried in the sun too), I'm just off for a hot bath then pj's and chill this eveningMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Ds and I have sorted through some more bits in the garage and I have got 3 bits on ebay. One has sold as a buy it now within 10 minutes, I have listed it several times before and not so much as a sniff
Anyway, after postage that's another fiver to chuck in the overpayments pot and another (rather small but still counts) bit cleared out the garage
Other than that I have also had a scoot through some stuff and found a £10 voucher I'd forgotten about, so that's been added to my voucher box.
Tesco shopping came this morning, waiting to see if the clicksnap tracks now.
Might go and see what else I can find to stick on there now, it always gets me motivated again when something sellsMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I've just checked about the overpayments on my new mortgage - I can make them at any time I want (max 10% of mortgage per year), but if they are under £500 then they go towards the next monthly payment, if I wait until it's £500 blocks then I can choose whether to reduce my monthly payments or reduce the term of the mortgage. So, I will be building up the over payments until I reach £500 then make a payment. I think it will take quite a while to reach each block but hey, let's seeMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Thanks Florence, I am keeping my fingers crossed it's here by Thursday, otherwise I think I'm in for the mother of all meltdowns from ds
It is very frustrating, I've tried to teach him to save for something he wants etc ... and then some ebay muppet messes around with sending it. In his email he put something about how he knows it's frustrating waiting for it to turn up but it will be on it's way soon  Not good enough when ds has paid almost £100 for it and part of the 'contract' was that it was posted within 1 working day ... then days later and still no sign of it   He will be so upset if it comes just as we go back to school, he was looking forward to playing lots in the holidays
Grrr!!
Today ds has been round to Mums and helped her clear up her garden. Then we popped in to my sisters for an hour, then we've sat in the garden in the sunshineI've just had a bath, ds is having his now then we're going for a nice walk down the beach with the dog before dinner.

Another reader anxiously waiting for the ebay parcel to turn up! As you say your DS has saved long and hard - fingers crossed it arrives and gives him many hours of entertainment.
I don't think it will take you too long to get to £500 as you seem to be earning extra money little and often.
I'm waiting for letter from my lender to show impact of this year's overpayments - frustrating not to be able to see it online but hopefully a nice surprise when the letter arrives.
Probably best for neither of us to talk about football!0
