    And it's the holidays :D:D
Today was fine, I caught up with various things at work, I will do a few bits one afternoon sat in the garden before I go back and then I'll be up to speed again.

So far today has been another nsd, I don't plan on spending anything later but who knows! I am going to email the people who replaced my velux windows at the flat and get them round for a quote because my windows here are rubbish at opening/closing. They are quite old, although the glass doesn't appear to have blown in them, but I will look at how much it will cost to replace them. It hopefully won't be too bad as there is just the lounge and loo downstairs (kitchen window goes into conservatory), and then the bathroom and 2 bedroom windows. I won't necessarily do them yet but it will be good to have a rough figure.

Not a nsd day today, ds and I have picked 2 horses each for the National, we put £1 each way on them, so £8 spent, let's see if we get any winnings ;)

The window fittings might just need tightening, oiling, degreasing etc, it can make a big difference to how they open and close.

Thanks Pooky, I wonder if the sun had affected the wooden frames as it opened absolutely fine this morning, maybe it had expanded in the heat?

I've text the ex-Mil and prepped and frozen the parsnips and a bag of carrots I'd forgotten about. I've also cleaned the bathroom, changed my bedding, unpacked another bag and the washing machine is doing it's second load, the first is flapping nicely on the line :D

Time for some lunch now then I will carry on pottering about, doing bits and pieces, as well as keeping an eye on the footie and the National later on ;)

Lunch in the garden, 6th load of washing just gone in , downstairs loo cleaned, lounge hoovered, conservatory floor swept, rubbish taken out, now time to sit in front of soccer saturday for a couple of hours with the laptop :)

All surveys are up to date at the moment, I might mooch about online and look for some new survey sites or other money generating ideas ;)
