Morning All
HH - Love the blanket!
Lovely day here, may hang the washing out when it's done, just towels so at least they will smell fresh even if they don't dry.
Sorted lots of games to take to the charity shop, don't think we played them for a couple of years before we moved and they haven't been used since so they are off to find new homes. All pieces there so will be of use to someone. Going up in the loft later to get down a little sunday school folding chair I bought some years ago. It will be good as a little bedside table for my room (the side I don't use). I think I may paint it to cheer it up - my first project of the year.
Chicken stir fry for tea, DD hasn't been feeling too good for the past couple of days (dicky tummy) and that's what she's requested.
Let DD take the car to work as the trains are a bit tricky on a Sunday and also so that I have to walk to Aldi. It only takes 10 mins to walk but I usually take the car! I've found my wally trolly and my pedometer will be pleased!
Hope you all have a good Sunday, take care. XX0 -
Good Morning all.
Slept in this morning so feeling a bit foggy headed just now,
DH is up already and in the kitchen making scrambled eggs (note to self buy more eggs later)
Dog and fish fed and as soon as i get dressed i will talk the boy out for a walk.
Today got to change the bedding and get it washed, make some rolls, and a quick tidy up, and the dreaded ironing pile looms.
I do have a spare cake mix that was hiding in the back of the cupboard so will make some cookies as well later.
Anyhoo gotta shake this foggy head so hugs to all xBright Blessings xx0 -

Morning all,
not sure what I'm doing today. Its the last day of the holiday for the men in my house but we've got nothing on the agenda for today.
Back to normal tomorrow. Good job really as all three of us have spent too much time sitting on our bums. I need to get my diet sorted as ive ate all sorts of junk over Christmas and my clothes feel tight.... My face bloated and eyes puffy. Urghhh!
Theres been a sharp frost overnight but its bright and sunny. Pretty cold though.
HH I love your blanket. I just adore bright colours.
Onwards and forwards,
have a great day all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Morning all,
HH - The blanket is lovely
Last day of the holidays for us three here too. Have to say part of me is looking forward to going back to work. I'm another one who definitely needs to lose some weight. I've eaten far too many chocolates and have so many left!! It's going to be difficult to say no to them
We went out on Friday and ordered a new sofa, can't believe it takes so long to arrive. Still it will give us time to move some electrics and re wire as we have decided to change the room layout too.
DS2 is supposed to have submitted some outstanding College work by tomorrow, but he has been very lazy and not done it yet. I keep nagging and encouraging him but ultimately it's his future that is at stake and his responsibility. He is a great one for coming up with excuses and reasons not to do something. It's all very sad for me.
Anyway have a great Sunday0 -

Have managed 3 NSDs so far, hoping to make it through today too!
Got to get head back into work mode, still lots to get done, but it has been nice to have a break. Think dinner will be a bit of reheated roast chicken from freezer with trimmings, still have some sprouts left
Have a canny day:)

Morning, a grey foggy, cold day here too, we have had a frost, the top of the car has a crisp white blanket on.
Hester, love you blanket, the colours are so bright and cheery.
My last Christmas present arrived yesterday, sheepskin slippers from DD2, she had to wait for new stock to come in as when she went they did not have my size. Very canny shopper my daughter, she works in a nursing home and they get discount from Boots, guess where my slippers came from???
We have the forms filled in for the council, going in with them tomorrow. DGD is on reception so she will deal with the stuff and make sure it gets to the right place. Then we have to wait for them to come and see us.
The last day of our 'lie ins' till next weekend, life is back to normal tomorrow, 8 am start.
No real plans for today except to cook tonights supper, pork loin steaks.0 -
Morning all,
Got the wm on the go with our bedding which can be hung out for a while today, so need to go and put clean sheets on the bed.
Oh at the boot sale and dd went home last night but I think she is coming back later. Last day before going back to work we have a change around in clients at the start of the year so will get to work with some new people which will be nice.
Roast beef for dinner today with all the trimmings last big meal of the season, will have to send OH over to the lady across the road who sells eggs, they are beautiful ones with really big yolks so should make good Yorkshires.
Got the tree down yesterday and had a good clean through it looks much cleaner and bigger !
Need to do an online shop today as we are running low on lots of things.
Camelot I love the sound of that little chair, would love to see a photo x
Love the blanket Hester x
Have good days all xx0 -
