    Evening All
    :hello: to all Newbies
Happy New year to everyone. I must try to get back into regular posting, but RL seems to be getting in the way.
TTFTM Lovely to see you popping in, hope you are soon back with us.
LW how are you, do you have any fur babies atm?
Molly. Hope 2015 sees you well enough to have the op(s) you need.
HH hope you could return the Pads, but if you can manage it you might find one easier than using a PC.
Islandmaid sorry to hear they are trying to make PT into FT

We have been away in the caravan for NY. It was very good. Took out essentials when we got back Friday, yesterday was a big wash out, so didn't manage to get anything else out, today we have fetched the gt. niece for a sewing lesson, we made a tote bag, and her Mum has just picked her up. Someone has organised a party for tonight, the day before school returns from 6 until 10pm!!, but she is leaving at 9pm.
Still eating up from Xmas, and also running down freezer and store cupboards, before we head back to the sun in February. Also want to get. Some document s scanned, photos scanned, videos converted and vinyl put on PC, so plenty of things to be doing, let alone, finishing a dog coat for Skye, making a Spider-Man har for young DGNephew, making a penguin, hedgehog and teddy. Oh and DSL wants me to make him an adult size baby bonnet for a stag do of one of his mates in May.
Tomorrow I have the hospididdle, to have the start of allergy tests, need to sort out Thursday, as the dentist and results if said allergy tests clash. Also need to return some clothes to GlassHoughton Retail Centre, and to empty the 'van. Already have 3 double bed sets to wash, and 2 sets of towels, let alone other clothes awaiting some decent weather to wash, so looks like life in retirement, is as manic as ever. Tomorrow looking more like washing weather here, so will do a couple of loads tonight, ready for going out in the morning. Will leave DH in charge!

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • Cold and foggy all day here so another NSD :D
I don't really need to go shopping until Thursday which is a bonus.

DH is back at work tomorrow and there is a new head teacher so all the staff are on tenterhooks :(

DD is also back at work and DS is back at college on Tuesday

DD's friend is expecting in May and wants me to do some baby bits for her but not in pink or blue, she wants non gender specific colours, so I will probably use mint green, purple and yellow. It is difficult to knit now with my sight and hands that don't work properly, but I do love knitting baby bits, so I am going to tackle it. I have a chest full of knitting patterns that I am going to go through tomorrow when peace reigns supreme.

Hester the blanket is lovely x

(((Hugs))) to Molly, Elona's DH, Hilly, LW and anyone else who needs one.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

So late tonight, cant seem to last the full day without a nap, means that I dont usually feel like going to bed much before midnight, looking forward to getting back to normal by the end of the month.

    Hester....lovely blanket.

    Mrs Mortenhacket.....nice to see you.

Think that the dogs will be going to vet for their shots tomorrow, OH and DD4's bf will take them, I wouldnt be able to handle Mossie as he hates the kennel cough spray and will go mad as soon as they get out of the car....glad I cant be involved really.

Really need to lose some weight, was very good yesterday and earlier today, have since 'attacked' a tube of fruit pastilles....feel so bold.

Did some grocery shopping yesterday and dont reckon that we will need more food for at least a week, hopefully longer, need to keep down spends.

Hope to organise some physio to morrow, just to re assure myself really, think that I need to be told exactly what to do and what I can expect

We had roast chicken for dinner with potatoes and mixed veg...really nice.

Best of luck to all who are back to work/school tomorrow.

    Evening everyone

A late post from me. Spoke to my dm today, she sounds so tired and down. Wish there was more I could do to help with stepdad but I live too far away now to go more often. I am trying to be more positive, went to the gym today didn't really feel like going but forced myself. Felt better after. Had a run in with ds2 age 14 about time spent on his ps4. We have restricted it severely before he goes back to school as he was getting very agitated. He has ADHD which doesn't help but I'm not putting up with his defiant attitude anymore. (Rant over)

Os today bit of decluttering, washing put away, Dw unloaded. Fruit loaf made in breadmaker.

Well I will say goodnight. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care
