Seems that a large number of dumped customers in Sussex are set to miss out. Late last year Southern transferred Sussex customers to South East water, so only those that are current customers in 2021 will get the refund, it just compounds the local disquiet after the announcement of 200 redundancies in Worthing

South east water only took over the billing side. So you get one bill for drinking water and waste water. Southern still provide the sewage element so you should still get the rebate

Very confusing who is going to get a refund. My current bill came with a stuffer directing me to the website, which appears to say that I needed to claim a refund for 2008 to date, and the closing date was September 2020! A refund will be automatically applied to my bill for this year. If I did have to make a claim in respect of the past 12 years, it feels unfair they did not tell me.
