Good spot Le_Kirk, I missed that one. Thanks

The Beavis bit was a suggestion from Coupon-mad. I think I'm supposed to be distinguishing my case from Beavis relating to unclear signs or something so that the Beavis judgement can't be used. Don't quite get that yet.

Just checking - does claim form show name of claimant as one word i.e. ParkingEye Limited?

Yes PARKINGEYE LTD, are you referring to the fact that mine has a space?

Well times's up really. Less than an hour before I need to email it and I can't risk TalkTalk's email going down again like it did two days ago.

KeithP were you going to add something? I'd hate to send it off now only to receive a re-draft from you 5 mins later! Wishful thinking on my part perhaps.

That was close but got it off with 10 minutes to spare. The moral of the story? Don't leave it all to the last minute because if you want help you can't expect the really helpful people on this forum to be here exactly when you need them! Lesson learned. Anyway that's it for now. Thanks to all of you who've guided me this far. You are all angels...even the old grumpy ones! ;-)

That defence is fine as long as you removed your notes like ''(Where does this bit go??)''

    :)

  • Ha ha! Yes I took that and all the other random bits out first. I also took out paragraph 3, the POC bit as I thought it was clear on the claim form. I didn't add in the bit about the Beavis case as wasn't quite sure how to use it. Could that be added into my WS later if it's relevant?

BEAVIS v PARKING EYE in the Supreme Court

Barry Beavis took Parking Eye to court because he claimed
the charges were unfair. The court said they were OK... and
that was it. So unless you are claiming that the charge
was unfair, the Supreme court decision has no bearing
    on you

But distinguish your case from Beavis in the WS later, yes.

    Hi all.
So...after four weeks of waiting and thinking it had miraculously all gone away, I received a copy of PE's directions questionnaire on Saturday. I was half expecting them to come back to me with a settlement offer but it looks like they are confident about a court hearing!
I haven't received my N180 from the court yet, is this normal?

I've emailed the hotel (landowner) twice now, marked FAO the general manager and have not even received an acknowedgement of receipt from them let alone a reply. I will keep chasing.
