    why not actually discuss food ideas with other parents if it's already failed once by everyone taking the same stuff!

    DS3 made his own fairy cakes the other day, needed for a 'let's all get together and watch all the Star Wars / Back to the Future / Lord of the Rings films in one day' event, and he's 16! :rotfl:

    someone in charge should surely liase with parents to organise it better?
    At DD's nursery they used to put a list up of what was needed and we all put our name down beside what we would supply.

    It does get MUCH harder as they get older: the arrangements are looser, messages are sent via the children that never reach the parents, you never see the other parents or even the activity leaders. At least that's my experience of cricket!

    ~I'd not bother with their intials, they'll wolf down whatever cake their hand hits first.

    You could do the clubs initials though...

    I'm being polite but they wouldn't know how to organise a pish up in a brewery! :rotfl:

    To be fair though, the manager has had a hard time of late (split up with his wife) so I don't want to pester him to try to organise something :)
