why not actually discuss food ideas with other parents if it's already failed once by everyone taking the same stuff!

As they get older and join different groups its never that easy. My Daughter does a couple of groups and I see hardly any of the parents and trying to get the kids to sort it wouldnt work

DS3 made his own fairy cakes the other day, needed for a 'let's all get together and watch all the Star Wars / Back to the Future / Lord of the Rings films in one day' event, and he's 16! :rotfl:

Wow! Thats almost 21 hours of films for the 3 triolgys! (27 & 1/4 if you include the extra 1st 3 SW films instead of just the original trilogy & I can't even do the maths if it was the extended edition LOTR films), how many fairy cakes did that take?! I couldn't even make it through a LOTR marathon!:rotfl:

I think team coloured cup cakes are a great idea BTW;)

In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!
  • If this is an issue for the club again, you could try what we do for the christmas disco at the gymnastics club. Every ticket has an item of food or drink written on it and whoever has bought a ticket has to bring in that item (we don't give them a choice either!). That works very well.
Self employed and loving it :D
