A couple of observations from me this evening.

There is a new "ruby" Kitkat, 3 (4-sticks) per pack which seems a bit of a rip-off to me:

There was a whole aisle full of Halloween merchandise; the other side had the first of the Christmas stock, including cocktail-scented candles (I saw Margarita, Pina Colada and Cosmopolitan) in brown paper boxes. Round the corner on the £2 aisle the same candles could be found in "luxury" scents and in shine red and purple box packaging.

Also - back in the world of £1 - large thermal (but plastic) travel mugs.

True enough, but the reviews don't suggest that they are worth paying anywhere near that.

I suppose £1 for 3 is ok if you want to try them. To my mind, a Kitkat is a Kitkat, and this is a money-saving website. (I bought a pack of the normal ones, 4 for £1).

Eta: if all sugary treats were priced at 80p/40g, I would not be buying them on account of cost - which would also do me a lot of good physically!

Cookies and cream :j have to try.

There are some lavender sleep products. One is roll on for pulse points and the other is a pillow spray. tried the roll on does not smell very much and used the pillow spray last night. But on to a cloth rather than the pillow. Not sure if they worked or not :rotfl: but worth it for a £1!!!!

May be too late to chase it up, depending on how close you are to a store/whether you still have the packaging and receipt, but I find Poundland are great at resolving any issues with their products.

That's more a stock rotation/shelf filling staff issue, though.

Edit: Please note my edited comment on the previous page.

I enjoy compiling posts on the Poundland and the OneBelow thread - (of course, threads are open for anyone to contribute) but a PM/comments again and again correcting me about amounts I may have got wrong via Google, or even my recent typo, are they really necessary?

This is an information thread, not a conversation or criticism thread - sometimes I make mistakes. I actually got a bit of a fright when I saw a PM waiting for me.

A mod can delete this if they wish.
