May be too late to chase it up, depending on how close you are to a store/whether you still have the packaging and receipt, but I find Poundland are great at resolving any issues with their products.
That's more a stock rotation/shelf filling staff issue, though.
Edit: Please note my edited comment on the previous page.
I enjoy compiling posts on the Poundland and the OneBelow thread - (of course, threads are open for anyone to contribute) but a PM/comments again and again correcting me about amounts I may have got wrong via Google, or even my recent typo, are they really necessary?
This is an information thread, not a conversation or criticism thread - sometimes I make mistakes. I actually got a bit of a fright when I saw a PM waiting for me.

Check date on batteries! just bought a pack date July 19 swizz.
That's unusually old stock for Poundland - are you sure that isn't the manufacturing date?
These batteries claim a 10 year life, and I'm pretty sure they weren't even making them in 2009.
Not recommended, though, according to Which, even at that price - they come out as a 'Don't Buy'.0 -
My bad was manufacturing date. (Doh) dont understand which report £1 for alkaline batts is good, what do they recommend?0

Which are nearly twice the price.0

Depends on the type of use, but Aldi Activ Energy are well recommended.
I happen to like the Aldi a lot: I only wish that I had one in reasonable walking distance of me.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Not me this time - though I take your point.
It's Which? making the recommendation!0 -
Loulou,
Please don't stop your posts. I love to see them and as someone else said alerts me to things that I might have missed. But also jealous as you have better stuff than I do :rotfl:.
Some people have nothing better to do with their lives apart from pull others apart. Would not have the guts to tell you to your face.
Who ever it was put on your ignore list. And ignore any further messages from them.
Have a nice day and take care.
Yours
