a little confused. in the newbie thread it says to ask in the SAR:

    - and a list of all PCNs they consider are outstanding against you and/or this VRN, and remind them that any claim must be for all PCNs in one claim, not several separate claims.
So it does. If it were me, I would strike out that bit of the sentence as, presumably, all you are trying to do is to find out how many PCNs they have issued.
  • I've received a response from CPM regarding the SAR sent 2-3 weeks ago. The replied with the following:
    Access to personal data
If you are seeking access to personal data in connection with a Parking Charge
Notice (PCN) then the personal data we typically hold are:
    1. Date, time, location and nature of the parking contravention.
    2. Registration mark, make, model and colour of the contravening vehicle.
    3. In some cases, the vehicle keeper name and address. (Where liability for a
PCN has been transferred for another person, then we will hold that
    person’s name and address).

Do you have a windscreen-issued PCN?
If yes, then then personal data listed in 1. and 2. can be found on that PCN.

Do you have a formal demand letter?
In which case, all items in the above list can already be found on that letter.

    Please note:
    1. We require further information to verify your identity or your legal
authority to make the request on another individual's behalf or both.
    2. We require you to specify what you are seeking from this request.
    3. Typically we make no charge for fulfilling your request. We may charge a
fee to fulfil your request under certain circumstances. If these
circumstances apply we will inform you and ask how you wish to proceed.
    4. Your data protection rights allow you to:
    a. request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data;
    b. request a restriction of personal data processing;
    c. object to certain types of data processing; and
    d. complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The law allows us to deny requests to erase personal data or to restrict or stop
it processing whilst we exercise or defend our legal claims in relation to a PCN.
When we have received back the required information from you we will then assess
the request. We will fulfil your request or write back to you and explain why
    your request has been denied.

Are they saying that they've given me all the information hey have on me and won't do so again?

They are also asking me to fill in some identity verfication forms. I assume it is fine to do this?

What exactly did you request in your SAR? Did you provide a copy of the vehicle's V5C with the SAR?

No. That is a standard copy and paste response which tells you nothing.

As intimated by DoaM, send them a copy of your V5c. That is enough proof that you are the Registered Keeper and are entitled to the information requested.

I followed the newb thread and requested :

    - ALL photos taken
    - all letters/emails sent and received, including any appeal correspondence earlier
    - if the car park was Pay and Display, ALWAYS ask for a PDT machine record from that day, of payments made (VRNs can be partially redacted but insist on getting this and follow it up if they refuse).
    - all data held, all evidence they will rely on, and a full copy of the PCN, NTK
    - and a list of all PCNs they consider are outstanding against you and/or this VRN, and remind them that any claim must be for all PCNs in one claim, not several separate claims.

Outside of the photos/time/location/car in the PCN they issue, what else can they usually use as evidence?
Did you provide a copy of the vehicle's V5C with the SAR?

    sadly I did not

Do not send photo Id. They are not entitled to it and have nothing to compare the photo against.

    Dear Sirs,

Please find enclosed 1) a copy of the vehicle's Registration Document, and 2) a copy of the original Parking Charge Notice.

Both these clearly identify me and my address and show that I am entitled to all the information you have about me and my vehicle.

If you fail to respond to the Subject Access Request fully within the allotted timescale, I shall not hesitate to report your failing to the Information Commissioner's Office.

    Yours faithfully...

The operation of a premium rate 0845 number continues to breach Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 in force since 13 June 2014.
The omission of the details of the premium rate call charges continues to breach Ofcom regulations in force since 1 July 2015.
  • I replied with my V5C and original PCN but they are still insisting on items from List A and B from the original request.

At this point shall I just forget about this data request as it's likely to go to court anyway?
