We used to go to the USA on holiday every couple of years, and I always made a point of visiting a dollar tree, I'm such a cheapskate!

Another quick one from Trongate, Glasgow earlier. Probably been in Poundland for eons but noticed it today to put in my nephew's stocking (then I realise it's Age 3+ when I get it home, sigh).

Its a relatively new addition and a good way to introduce young children to playing music. I'll try and get down there is week to buy one.

PS: I noticed from looking quickly at the Dollartree website that the layout seems very similar to Poundshop dot com's! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :D!

I bought a Twin Peaks to try, but it's fairly awful. The main ingredient is sugar and boy does it taste overly sweet. There's a weird aftertaste of honey too, in an unpleasant way. And although I can't see sweeteners on the label - it tastes like Xylitol - it's got that strange, cold mouthfeel. I won't be a repeat purchaser, it's nothing compared to the enjoyment of a piece of Toblerone in the mouth!
