Choice of auto enrolment scheme for employers
I run the payroll for a medium sized charity with 200 employees and we use Sage Payroll software. We were recently told that our current provider, Aegon, would not enrol us because we were too small. So now I am looking at using either NEST or the People's Pension because these are the only two schemes that can't say no…

£17690 pension pot
My friend has a pension pot of £17690 and will take her pension at age 55 in May. A leaflet she was sent says that if her total pension is less than £18K and she's over 60, or in some other circumstances, she may be able to take it all as a lump sum. She would much prefer to do this. Obviously she's under 60, but is in…

pension scheme AND a lump sum confusion.
My university pension scheme (final salary) is a £n AND a lump sum. So, if I take 25% of the lump sum, would the remainder of that lump sum payout pension p.a. , in addition to the final salary pension…? Or, as I suspect, would the 25% lump sum lower final salary pension?

Final Salary Pension Schemes Merge
I worked for a company that had a final salary pension scheme and the wording regarding increases after retirement was based around the premise that the level of an annual increase was at the discretion of the board of trustees.
