Teachers' Pensions non-transferrable?
Having read MSE's pdf on applying for an annuity, I wanted to go elsewhere for a more competitive benefit than the TPS are offering (a right by law I understood). I am told it is theirs - no enhancements, no transfers. Why are they different/ Is this right?

Nhs pension
How do NHS pensions work. If someone's a part of the NHS pension 1995 scheme when they retire can they move their fund rather than take a pension salary or sum? Is there a limit of contributions you make and you get no benefit for the salary you sacrifice I.e. Pay in for 30yrs but get no more benefit than if you paid in 25?

What happened to my SERPS?
Hi Either in the late 80's or early 90's I remember opting out of SERPS. I can't remember why I did, someone will have advised me to. Final salary vs. defined benefits question
Hi all, I've recently started working for a university, and have been paying into a pension with USS under the career revalued benefits scheme. My problem is that I don't really like any of the obvious strategies,…
