I am currently at the end of my tie in period and have been told that my Abbey mortgage has risen to 6.98%. After speaking to the Abbey and discussing their deals this will decrease by 1.5% due to the base rate cuts. I wabt a fixed rate deal which is curently 4.99%. I am just wondering if anyone knows about Furture Mortgages. My fixed rate deal is up in April 09 but apparantly they have folded. I got the HSBC LT tracker at 90% LTV - say in 2 years, i decide i want to go for one of their fixed deals (no penalty) - how do they work out which fixed deals im eligble for (IF ANY?) I.e do they still class me as 90% LTV or will they re-value my property? and its likely that i'll be 95% LTV or WORSE!? :p

anyone know roughly how long underwriters decisions take, mind went to the underwriter last mon (through the packaging company) and all ive heard is that their regular underwriter is unavailable so they have to deal with the lender direct, so it takes a bit longer, im desperate to get a mortgage offer.
