Web shop has a 15 day return when MSE says it's 28, what can I do?

    Did you return item within 14 day off notifying the retailer ??

    but according to the poster below (who usually knows what he's talking about ;)) that's not the rule:
    If the right of cancellation exists, you have 14 days beginning the day after delivery to inform the retailer that you wish to cancel then you have 14 days from when you informed them to actually send the goods back. (They don't have to receive the goods in this second 14 day period, it's just that you have to give them to a delivery agent during this time.)
    So maybe the reason there hasn't been a refund forthcoming is that the OP didn't hand the goods to a delivery agent within 14 days after notifying the seller that he/she was returning the item.

    One thing to bear in mind is that the 14 days only starts from the day after delivery if the trader complied with their obligations - such as informing the OP in a durable medium they had 14 days to cancel and then 14 days from cancelling to return.

    If the company have not done this then the 14 days starts on the day after they provide this information to the consumer - up to a maximum of 1 year and 14 days after entering the contract.

    I won't reveal what website is this etc for anonymity.
    I opened a PayPal case although I am also considering a chargeback.

    Did you return item within 14 day off notifying the retailer YES or NO ?
