The real size of a 15.4" laptop!

Hello All,
Ok I went into currys today for a hunt of a laptop!
I say £100 a toshiba laptop from £499 -> £399
I can remember the size of the screen but it was approx A4 size.
I searched their website and found what I think is the same deal:

15.4 is the distance from the bottom left corner to the top right.
the diagonal of a piece of A4 paper is about 14.3 inches.
so the laptop is slightly bigger than A4.0 -
and will be slightly larger still when you take into account the trim round the edge of the screen.0

The Curry's one is:
Height: 269.5 mm
Width: 365 mm
Depth: 35.3 mm
The ebuyer one:
Height: 260 mm
Width: 360 mm
Depth: 39 mm0 -
