Long Purchase with Rewards?

Options
Hi all

I am in the market for a new credit card, my current one is a M&S credit card and is years old. I plan on keeping it as the limit is quite high and also to keep the history of credit (I read thats a good thing..).

I want a long interest free card with rewards. I cannot use Sainsbury as have closed an account with them recently. I did look at the Santander 123 Credit Card but that seems a lot of effort for little reward.

I have tried the comparison sites, but thought it would be worth a asking on here. As I know some people on these forums find a gem from time to time :j

Any help appreciated

OK thanks. I just had a quick look and it seems that the Barclaycard have a 'Freedom Rewards credit card' scheme. 12 months interest free on purchases with freedom points earned:

Lloyds choice rewards card, it offers 2 years 0% on purchases, and the rewards value on the american express card is 1.5%

Yeah I saw that but it comes with a annual fee, so you really would have to spend hard to make the card worthwhile in terms of cash back.

Thanks for the heads up though :j

If you have a Club Lloyds account you get £12 of the card's £24 Annual Fee waived and it's double points on the American Express from the first six months of account opening.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
