Hi,
It's an m240...1gb0 -
Connect the player to the computer using the same USB mode (MTP or MSC) that was used when the songs were transferred to the player.
If it's in MSC Mode
1) Access the drive through the "Removable Disk" in "My Computer"
2) Delete your songs as you would normally delete any file on your computer.
If it's in MTP mode
1) Either delete the songs through "My Computer" by browsing through the "SanDisk Sansa m200," or by browsing the player through music management software (Napster, Rhapsody, Yahoo, etc.)0 -
Hello Red Rose, sorry for the delay in replying!
I'm not really sure what I am doing, I have deleted the file that seemed to be connected to the mp3 but, all the songs are still thereI'm not sure how to do the napster, rhapsody bit
I originally put the songs on mp3 from my collection I had on computer.
When I click on Sansa I get TCNANDO appear if I right click on that, the only thing which will allow me to delete is if I click on format, and it warning pops up that chosing to reformat will delete ALL data on the mp3
Sorry I am being a dimwit.

Change it to MSC mode
You may have to uninstall the sansa driver from your PC and reinstall it to get into MSC mode
When you look in My computer, you should see SanDisk Sansa m200 listed as a removeable drive, right click it and click explore
Hopefully you should see some folders, double click on those in turn, and you should see your music files
Right click on those and click delete0 -
Just a quick thank you, I will that a try (may take a while)
