yes but I wasn't driving the car when my friend drove it back in the carpark which I think is when the pay and display parking ticket slipped down the dashboard

so now I'm really confused. If my car had probably stayed in the original place the ticket wouldnt have moved but my friend moved my car and when my friend drove it back they obviously didn't notice the pay and display ticket slide down the dashboard

so not really sure what I'm best to do now :(

at the risk of clouding the waters further...
if your daughter is a wheelchair user then do you not have a blue badge for her in your car?
not *quite* sure how it works (i.e. the criterion for obtaining such a badge) but do know that a friend of mine who's daughter is a wheelchair user does have a blue badge as her daughter is mobility impaired with cerebal palsy.
Not that this helps you right now but maybe something worth looking into for future expeditions.

Just looked at their online form which is the only way they will accept an appeal and very cleverly you have to fill in whether you were the driver or the registered keeper

This is of no relevance what so ever !

OK so you are appealing as the keeper then.

you can only appeal using an online form according to the info it say's it won't accept appeals any other way so limits you to either applying as keeper or driver as you have to fill the boxes, very cleverly worded

appealed as keeper as I didn't actually drive the car into the carpark even though I bought the ticket and put it on the dashboard
  • First line of their appeals page.

If you wish to appeal against a Fixed Charge Notice, you must do so within 28 days of the date of notice or within the time period stipulated in the notice/document you received. You can appeal using the online form on this page or by sending your appeal to Napier Parking Ltd, Atterbury Lakes, Fairbourne Drive, Atterbury, Milton Keynes, MK10 9RG.

Yep, could have posted it you know! Let us know when you need help re the POPLA appeal because ...YOU WILL NEED HELP with this POPLA appeal, don't send a generic one, don't rush it. Not sure why you've seemingly appealed so early - you'd seen the Newbies thread and saw the advice is to wait for the postal Notice first? Yet this thread reads as if you've appealed to a windscreen PCN you only got last week? In any case, we'll try hard to help.

Was it Willen lakes - exactly which car park please?

It does make a difference - we'll try to help and I am pleased you appealed as keeper and were not driving, that helps you a lot but ONLY if you take your time and get the POPLA appeal spot on. Napier win quite a lot but there ware some arguments that a keeper can use, that a driver cannot.
